Named after the Hill of Sight from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Amon Hen wove death, doom, and gothic metal together from Castellón de la Plana between 1995 and 2003. Their philosophical and fantasy-themed lyrics were carried by a sound that balanced crushing weight with mournful atmosphere.
