Minneapolis's Sea of Vapors emerged in 2019 with a psychedelic sludge/doom formula that coats grinding low-end riffage in hallucinatory haze, reflecting both the claustrophobic winters of the upper Midwest and the region's tradition of heavy, exploratory music.
