Formed in Leoben, Styria, Austria in 2005, Wolfpack Unleashed play a technically oriented brand of thrash metal that draws heavily from the Bay Area tradition — particularly the precision and harmonic sophistication of Megadeth-era Rust in Peace and Metallica's Master of Puppets. Their debut album Anthems of Resistance (2007, Napalm Records) showcased an abundance of melodic lead work, harmonic runs, and shred-oriented soloing within a framework of aggressive modern thrash. The band has remained active as an independent act since departing from Napalm Records.
Wolfskin is a thrash metal band from Mexico City, active since 2010 and named after the ulfhednars — Norse berserkers who wore wolf pelts into battle — reflecting themes of mythology and war. The band released their debut album Rise of the Lords in 2010 and followed it with the Succubus Demos collection in 2022. They remain active and unsigned, with a lineup featuring members who have also played in Wrecker, Naastrand, and Koimetirion.
