CHVE is the solo project of Colin H. Van Eeckhout, vocalist of Belgian post-metal collective Amenra, launched around 2015 as an experimental outlet rooted in drone, folk, and minimalism rather than metal. Chykle is a heavy metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina with roots going back to the mid-1980s, when they released albums including "Relámpago de Rock" (1986), "Nave Acuario" (1987), and "Jaque Mate" (1988). The 1988 album "Jaque Mate" featured tracks such as "Caviar y Champagne," "Hiroshima Enola Gay," and "Alma de Rock and Roll," and the band's lineup at that time included vocalist Olaf Mangialavore, guitarist Edy Valino, bassist Bugy Bogao, keyboardist Frank Mangialavore, and drummer Micky Llade. The band has remained part of Buenos Aires's heavy metal scene across several decades.
