Valland is a pagan black/death metal band from Paris, France, formed in 2015. They fuse pagan themes with the aggression of both black and death metal.
Vallansgardh is an epic black metal band from Valinhos, São Paulo, Brazil, active since 2005. Vallenfyre formed in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England in 2010 as a project initiated by Paradise Lost lead guitarist Gregor Mackintosh following the death of his father. The band's debut A Fragile King (2011) channeled grief through old-school British death-doom and Swedish death metal aesthetics, featuring a lineup that included members of My Dying Bride, At the Gates, and Doom. Three albums were released before the band concluded with a final performance in 2018, leaving behind Splinters (2014) and Fear Those Who Fear Him (2017) as further installments.
