1000 Yard Stare
1000 Yard Stare is a death metal and groove metal band from the Detroit, Michigan area, active since 2000 with a career spanning nearly two decades. After an early self-titled EP, the band returned with the 2017 EP "Parasites" and the 2019 full-length "Benthic," named for the deepest ocean zone. Their sound merges the heaviness of death metal with the rhythmic stomp of groove metal.
