A Second of Silence is a metalcore band from Mexico City, Mexico, originally formed in 2003 and known for their use of masks on stage. After a hiatus the band regrouped in 2014, releasing the EP Dying Light in 2015 and continuing to develop their debut album Between Shadows and Oblivion, drawing influences from As I Lay Dying, Slipknot, and Lamb of God.
