Above Ravens
Above Ravens is a pagan and viking black metal band from Aarhus, Denmark, established around 1997 by Straf Hornblod on vocals and Epochian on drums as a side project of Rimfrost members, later joined by guitarist Sjaelepaest. The band blends folk and war metal inspiration into black metal, developing their distinct sound as their parent project Rimfrost transitioned toward funeral doom, with releases including The Mark of the Muspel.
