Alaic is a one-man depressive black metal and ambient project from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, run solely by the musician known as Putrefactus, who handles all instruments, mixing, and mastering. Active since 2016, the project has produced a substantial catalog including the albums "The Harvest," "Final Embers of Sunlight," and "Overcoming the Existence," as well as split work, exploring themes of despair and inner dissolution characteristic of the Brazilian DSBM scene.
