Anima Inmortalis is a death metal band from Santiago, Chile, whose name means "Immortal Soul" in Latin. The band released the full-length album Everlasting in 2005 and followed it with the EP Understanding the Darkness in 2010 before issuing More than Just Flesh and Blood in 2011 through Australis Records, recorded at 15 Hz Studios in Santiago. Their lyrical themes explore astral concepts, philosophy, and the nature of life and death.
