Arctis is a Finnish modern metal band that completed their self-titled debut album in 2020 during the pandemic before releasing it in 2024 through Napalm Records, produced by Jimmy Westerlund of One Desire. Their sound pairs heavy, distortion-driven riffs with accessible melodic hooks and cinematic atmosphere, earning comparisons to contemporary Scandinavian melodic metal acts. The debut was followed immediately by a European touring cycle with Apocalyptica, marking the band's first live appearances.
