Thrash Metal
Artillery are a thrash metal band from Taastrup, Denmark, formed in 1982 and named after a track by British heavy metal act Tank. Their early albums Fear of Tomorrow (1985) and Terror Squad (1987) established them as one of Europe's most technically proficient thrash acts, and By Inheritance (1990) on Roadrunner Records is widely regarded as their defining work. After a lengthy hiatus, the band reformed and signed with Metal Blade Records, releasing a string of albums through the 2010s culminating in their tenth full-length, X, in May 2021.
