Ashes Planet is a Mexican melodic doom/death metal solo project founded by Jose Aguirre, who is also the driving force behind the band Mar de Dolor. The project released its debut EP, Hope Is Black, in 2023, blending heavy downtuned riffs with melodic, sorrowful atmosphere.
