Ashx is a raw blackened doom metal band from San José, Costa Rica, active since 2017. The band has released two albums: "Road to the Grave" (2017) and "Until the End" (2019), both characterized by lengthy, suffocating tracks averaging six to eight minutes and a deliberately cold, minimal production style. Their sound combines the bleakness of depressive black metal with the slow tempos of doom.
