Askaroth is a one-man instrumental black metal project from Germany, formed in 2022, whose self-titled debut album spans ten tracks and fifty-two minutes of atmospheric black and thrash metal inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Track titles like Tinuviel, Earendil, and Mirrormere map the project's compositions directly onto Middle-earth's mythology.
