Harrogate's Asomvel are unrepentant Motorhead worshippers who blast out high-octane speed metal with punk attitude and a take-no-prisoners stage presence. Founded in 1993, the band overcame tragedy when frontman Jay-Jay Winter was killed in a 2010 road accident, continuing in his honour with albums like 'Kamikaze' and 'World Shaker' that earned them a devoted global following.
