Asterion
Asterion is a progressive death metal band from Santiago, Chile, formed in 2006, featuring vocalist Matias Ibañez, keyboardist Eliseo Peña, guitarists Mauricio Silva and Alejandro Oliva, bassist Gustavo Miranda, and drummer Jorge Ovalle. The band released their debut album Nihil Perpetuum in 2008 and followed it with Zerzura in 2010 on Australis Records, blending elements of avant-garde, black, death, and doom metal.
