Away from the Sun is a modern metalcore band from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, formed in 2020. Blending melodic death metal with contemporary metalcore, the band weaves themes of psychoanalytic archetypes, philosophy, and misanthropy throughout their releases, including the albums Unity and Anima. Their sound draws on the melodic Gothenburg tradition while incorporating the rhythmic aggression of modern metalcore.
