Cancerous Social Thoughts is a grindcore band from Asunción, Paraguay, formed in 2017 and released through Grinder Cirujano Records. Their 2017 full-length Distopía and 2021 split Grindkaos deal in themes of political unrest, social oppression, mass destruction, and anti-religion, delivered in the blasting, concise format typical of the genre. They are one of the few active grindcore acts documented from Paraguay's underground extreme metal scene.
