New Orleans' Crowbar are one of the defining bands of American sludge metal, building their reputation on crushingly slow tempos, emotionally raw vocals, and riffs heavy enough to bend steel. Formed in the early 1990s, they remain one of the most influential acts to emerge from the Crescent City's legendary underground.
