Dark Altar
Dark Altar was a black/death metal band from Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil, active in the mid-to-late 2010s. Drawing influence from Death, Belphegor, Sarcófago, and Mayhem, the band pursued a raw, ritualistic extreme metal sound; scheduling conflicts and creative differences ultimately led to their permanent disbandment following a failed reunion attempt in 2020.
