Dark Calamity is a solo blackened death metal project from Braunau am Inn, Austria, created by a musician who records under the alias Mortifer. Beginning with a melodic black metal style touched with symphonics, the project evolved toward more brutal, relentless extremity, as heard across releases such as Sermon of Satan, Blasphemar, and Apocalypsis Mortis — all with lyrical themes spanning Satanism, blasphemy, and mythology.
