Defragment
Defragment is an extreme metal band based in Santiago, Chile, formed by musicians from Chile, Venezuela, and Colombia, giving the project a distinctly multinational Latin American identity. The band released their debut EP 'Ecorruption' in 2017, followed by the full-length 'Outbreak' in 2021 and the seven-track EP 'Made of Chaos' in 2025, with the latter self-recorded and mixed by Felipe Cuevas at Estudio Arrebol. Their sound combines death metal brutality with grindcore intensity and has grown more technically nuanced with each release.
