El Estigio is an experimental black metal band from Tulcán, Ecuador, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of black metal in the country. Active since at least 2000 and signed to Wolfgang Records, the band has built a substantial catalog including the full-lengths Tulcán (2008), Satán Metal Negro (2012), and Pacto maldito (2018), exploring themes of anti-religion and Satanism.
