Emexis
Emexis are a progressive metal band from Valparaíso whose sound evolved from thrash-influenced roots toward progressive and alternative metal over a series of releases including Tolerancia nula (2019), Alitheia (2023), and the 2024 concept album Hibris: desmesura y arrogancia, the latter based entirely on a novel written by the band's vocalist. The current lineup features Cristóbal Avendaño and Cristóbal Rojas on guitars, Adolfo Del Valle on vocals, Franco Romero on bass, and Nicolás Peñaloza on drums and vocals.
