Facing Fear is a heavy metal quartet from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2016, featuring vocalist Terry Painkiller, guitarist Raphael Dantas, bassist Nathalia Souza, and drummer Vall Maranhão. Rooted in old-school heavy metal in the tradition of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, and Accept, the band released the album "Ana Jansen" in 2019 and followed it with "Marginal Metal" in 2022. Their recordings have reached listeners in Japan and garnered attention in the United States.
