Ferec is a heavy metal band from Hakkari in the far southeastern corner of Turkey, formed in 2019. Operating from one of the most remote and mountainous cities in the country near the Iraqi and Iranian borders, they represent one of the most geographically isolated heavy metal acts in all of Europe and the Near East.
