Formed in 2013 in Traunstein on the Austrian-Bavarian border, Glare of the Sun craft a wide-spanning progressive doom and post-metal sound that moves through sludge, shoegaze, ambient, and folk textures across long, dynamic compositions. Signed to Lifeforce Records, their discography includes Soil (2017), Theia (2019), and TAL (2024), each album evolving the scope and density of their sound.
