Goatspell is a black metal, speed metal, and thrash band from Rouen, Normandy, France, formed in 2015, self-described as 'Black Metal from Normandy.' Their 2018 LP Ascension of the Drakonian Beast was recorded at Château Vergogne and released on Impious Desecration Records, following earlier releases Esoterrorism and Alchemy of Terror (both 2015).
