Thrash Metal
Melbourne thrash metal outfit Harlott formed in 2006, drawing from Bay Area and Teutonic influences to build a sound built around high-tempo aggression and technically precise riffing. The band released a string of independent albums before signing with Metal Blade Records, where they issued Extinction (2017) and Detritus of the Final Age (2020). Their debut trilogy — Origin, Proliferation, and Extinction — established them as one of the more consistent acts in the contemporary Australian thrash scene.
