Rome's Hideous Divinity formed in 2007 and have built a discography of concept albums within the technical and brutal death metal tradition, signing to Century Media Records after their 2012 debut. Each release, including Adveniens (2017), Simulacrum (2019), and Unextinct (2024), is constructed around a distinct conceptual framework — the latter drawing from Bram Stoker's Dracula — executed through a dense, meticulously arranged approach to death metal that prioritizes compositional detail over straightforward aggression. They rank among the most internationally recognized acts in Italian extreme metal.
