Inverloch formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2011, featuring Paul Mazziotta and Matthew Skarajew, veterans of the pioneering early-1990s doom/death act diSEMBOWELMENT. Signed to Relapse Records, the band released the EP Dusk | Subside in 2012 and the full-length Distance | Collapsed in 2016, carrying forward a deeply sepulchral death/doom tradition rooted in their earlier project's legacy.
