Johnny the Boy formed in the United Kingdom in 2014, built around a creative core of vocalist Belinda Kordic and guitarist Justin Greaves, both key members of Crippled Black Phoenix, alongside bassist Matt Crawford. Signed to Season of Mist, the band blends blackened sludge, doom, and hard rock into a sound described as ice-cold black metal meeting excoriating sludge metal.
