Korova was an avant-garde black metal band from Innsbruck, Austria, active from 1990 through 2000 under that name. Taking their name from the milk bar in A Clockwork Orange, the band released their debut A Kiss in the Charnel Fields in 1995, one of the few early avant-garde black metal records to emerge from Austria. The band evolved through successive name changes — Korovakill (2000–2011) and Chryst (2011–2013) — exploring increasingly experimental territory across their lifespan.
