Álaghom
Álaghom is a progressive metal band from Morelia, Michoacán, formed in 2004 and active as an independent act. The band takes its name from Álaghom Naom, the Mayan goddess of consciousness and the mind, and explores ancient Mesoamerican cosmology, Zen philosophy, and esoteric themes across their catalog, which includes the 2008 full-length "Evolución mental" and a return to recording with the 2024 EP "Return to the Beginner's Mind".
