Land of Tears is an old-school death metal band from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with roots tracing back to 2000. Drawing on influences such as Bolt Thrower, Entombed, and Dismember, the band released their debut album "The Ancient Ages of Mankind" in 2014, which led to a European tour through Germany, Belgium, Holland, and Poland. The band returned in 2022 with a reformed lineup after a break in activity beginning in 2018.
