Lovebites
Lovebites formed in Tokyo in 2016, building a sound rooted in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal with strong melodic power metal leanings, drawing frequent comparisons to Iron Maiden and Rage. After signing to Victor Entertainment, they released a debut EP and their first album Awakening from Abyss in 2017, winning the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band in 2018 following Clockwork Immortality. The all-female quintet has maintained a prolific release schedule, delivering their fifth studio album Outstanding Power in February 2026 and establishing themselves as one of Japan's most internationally recognized heavy metal acts.
