LUCIFER
Lucifer was founded in Berlin in 2014 by German vocalist Johanna Sadonis following the dissolution of her previous band The Oath, initially delivering a sound rooted heavily in occult doom metal before gradually broadening toward 1970s-influenced heavy rock. The band has released five studio albums in a numbered series—Lucifer I through Lucifer V (2024)—each refining the balance between vintage hard rock atmosphere and doom-laden heaviness. Sadonis remains the sole constant member, with Swedish guitarist Nicke Andersson of The Hellacopters having co-founded and shaped the early sound before departing.
