Rising from the hot interior of Piauí, Malignitude play a rawly atmospheric strain of black metal with occult and misanthropic leanings, as heard on their debut "Sons of Infernal Land." The record unfolds across six tracks of cold, mid-paced aggression, channeling the bleak grandeur typical of Scandinavian second-wave black metal through a distinctly northern Brazilian lens.
