Featuring vocalist Cris Maffra alongside guitarists Felipe Knoller and Ricardo Siqueira, Mandibulla occupied a corner of the stoner-doom spectrum enriched by classical strings and piano, setting their approach apart from the rawer side of the genre. Their 2018 debut 'Bleeding Black,' released through Solitude Productions and mastered by Jack Endino, drew praise for its sludgy riff weight and unusually refined production.
