Monads
A funeral death-doom metal band from Belgium signed to Aesthetic Death, formed in 2011 by a five-piece lineup committed to a sound they described as crushing and heavy, deliberately removed from the romantic side of the genre. Their debut cassette 'Intellectus Iudicat Veritatem' sold out fifty copies in six days, and their follow-up full-length 'IVIIV' (2017) delivered fifty minutes of devastating slow riffs and melancholic atmosphere across four extended compositions.
