Founded in Formosa, Goiás by Rafael Montalvão, Naughty Dog plant themselves firmly in the old-school traditional heavy metal tradition, drawing on the melodic sensibility of the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal. Their 2021 debut Dogs Like No Clowns, distributed in Europe by Audio Miasma Records, showcases crunching riffs, energetic pacing, and a conviction that classic heavy metal songwriting still has plenty to say.
