Ne Obliviscaris
Formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2003 by vocalist Xenoyr and bassist Adam Cooper, Ne Obliviscaris are a progressive metal band whose distinctive lineup includes electric violin alongside two guitars, bass, drums, and two vocalists. Their debut Portal of I (2012) was followed by Citadel (2014), Urn (2017), and Exul (2023), each drawing on extreme metal, progressive rock, classical music, and jazz in combinations that defy easy genre classification. They are widely regarded as one of the most ambitious and technically accomplished metal bands to emerge from Australia.
