Numenorean
Numenorean is a Canadian post-black metal band founded in 2011 by twin brothers Byron and Brandon Lemley, rooted in the atmospheric and melodic tendencies of European post-black metal. Their debut album Home (2016) received widespread critical attention for its marriage of fragile, emotionally raw songwriting with waves of distortion and layered texture, earning placement in year-end lists across the metal press. A second album, Adore, followed and further explored the tension between beauty and harshness that defines the band's approach.
