Pest
Pest is a Swedish black metal band from Stockholm, formed in 1997 by Necro and Equimanthorn with a deliberate commitment to raw, orthodox black metal stripped of symphonic or progressive elements. The band released four studio albums — Desecration (2003), In Total Contempt (2005), Rest in Morbid Darkness (2008), and The Crowning Horror (2013) — maintaining a sound rooted firmly in the genre's early 1990s Norwegian and Swedish aesthetics. Their uncompromising approach attracted Season of Mist as a distributor and a dedicated following within underground black metal circles.
