Savage Messiah
Savage Messiah is an English thrash and heavy metal band formed in London in May 2007 by vocalist and guitarist Dave Silver following the dissolution of his previous group Headless Cross. The band signed to Candlelight Records in 2009 and recorded their debut full-length Insurrection Rising with Grammy-nominated producer Chris Tsangarides, establishing a sound rooted in classic thrash with melodic hooks. Subsequent albums including Plague of Conscience (2012), The Fateful Dark (2014) on Earache Records, and Hands of Fate (2017) on Century Media Records—recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios—built the band's reputation as a consistent presence in the British heavy metal underground.
