Atmospheric Black Metal with Folk influences
Selk'nam is an atmospheric black metal band from Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, whose name and music draw directly from the indigenous Selk'nam people of the region and their cosmology. The band released three recordings in quick succession: "Kamuk" in May 2024, "Wintek" in August 2024, and "Temáukel" in August 2025, each title referencing a cardinal sky-realm or deity from Selk'nam mythology.
