Sleeping Romance
Sleeping Romance is an Italian symphonic metal band from Carpi, Emilia-Romagna, formed in 2013 after operating for several years under the name Hybrid Resolution. The project centers on the emotional soprano of vocalist Federica Lanna and the compositional work of guitarist Federico Truzzi, who writes layered, orchestral arrangements in the tradition of European symphonic metal. Their debut Enlighten (2013) on Ulterium Records was followed by the conceptual Alba (2017) on Napalm Records, a narrative-driven work exploring personal growth through darkness. The band thematically centers their albums around the human experience, earning them a following within the female-fronted European metal scene.
