Sons Of Seasons
Sons of Seasons formed in Aachen, Germany in 2007, organized around Kamelot keyboardist Oliver Palotai, who wrote and produced the band's material and recruited vocalist Henning Basse alongside bassist Jürgen Steinmetz and drummer Daniel Schild. Their debut Gods of Vermin (2009) introduced a dramatic symphonic power metal sound with progressive touches, and Magnisphyricon (2011) expanded the band's compositional ambition further. The project draws on the same European tradition as Kamelot while emphasizing a darker, more orchestral palette. Sons of Seasons have remained a part-time vehicle for Palotai's songwriting outside his primary band obligations.
