TesseracT
Formed in Milton Keynes, England in 2003 by guitarist Acle Kahney, TesseracT are widely credited as one of the pioneering bands of the djent movement, characterized by polyrhythmic guitar work, odd time signatures, and expansive atmospheric layering. Their debut One (2011) established the template, and they have since released five studio albums through Nuclear Blast, most recently War of Being (2023), cycling through several vocalists before settling on the returning Daniel Tompkins. They remain one of progressive metal's most critically respected contemporary acts.
